Container Gardens

Japan, like many crowded countries, has limited space for greenery. Their gardens are carefully sculpted and maintained, but most people don't have room for a legitimate garden. Instead, they apply the mentality that created the bonsai: Plant something perennial in a container. Seeing flowers in the dead of winter and pots spilling over with weird cabbage flowers is one of my favorite parts of Japan. So, I'm sharing it with you.
